The PS Vita is Sony's trademark portable console brand. It was launched in 2012 and since then it is recognized as the most powerful console among laptops. However, it was not very well received and was renewed just a couple of years after its launch with the PS Vita Slim.

Design:

In this section the design of the PS Vita Slim does not keep a fundamental change with respect to its predecessor. However, the change in materials used is noticeable, in the Vita Slim the materials look better than before as well as the curves around the equipment. Another notable aspect is its reduction in thickness, reaching 15 mm. Almost equaling that of tablets or smartphones.

Hardware:

Basically, this section is fixed on the touch panel that passes to the rear and with a much smaller panel. Although it will cost a bit to change for those used to the previous equipment, this design allows to avoid accidentally touching this panel.
